MP3 Corn prices have soared as demand for ethanol has risen in recent years. Corn farmers are prospering, but others -- such as hog farmers who rely on corn feed -- are facing tough times. And some critics blame ethanol demand for rising food prices worldwide.

The discussion of solutions for global environmental issues is complex and huge. We must at least focus on two main issues simultaneously - social and economic impacts and sustainability. Environmental sustainability is a given - but what is oftentimes environmentally sustainable is not socially just or economically sustianable.
